Taking on every single step in the moving process isn’t always the best course of action especially if you’re short on time and/or patience. So why not try one of our additional services? We offer a one-stop shop for all moving related needs to make it easier for you. Our services include:
- Storage – we offer climate-controlled storage units for short and long-term storage. We offer a variety of sizes and will deliver your belongings to and from the units. Just let us know what you want to keep in storage and for how long and we’ll do the rest!
- Packing and unpacking – packing properly is an artform. You want to be able to fit as much in a box as possible without doing any damage to the box’s contents. While you can do it yourself, if you want to make sure everything is packed properly, hire us to pack for you. We provide partial and full packing service as well as unpacking services.
- Plastic bins – if you’re looking for a more eco-friendly way to move or just don’t want to deal with boxes, then rent plastic bins from us. They’re sturdy, easily stackable, and water and dust-proof!
- Moving supplies – we take pride in using high-quality packing materials. If you’re in need of moving boxes or supplies then give us a call and we’ll drop some off at your doorstep! These are the same boxes and materials we use when we pack so you know you’re getting the best.
Even if you don’t have the budget for these add-ons, we offer plenty in our moving service for free. All you have to do is ask! We’ll uninstall window AC units, disassemble and reassemble basic furniture, dismount TVs, and much more. We’ll even throw in 3 free wardrobe box rentals for all the clothes hanging in your closet so you don’t have to take them off the hangers. It might not seem like a big deal, but it can save you a lot of time when packing.
We’re Moving Experts
Our company started back in 2011 and since then we’ve taken on a variety of challenges. Because of the demands of our job, every new employee we bring on goes through an intense training period before they even go on their first move. Not only do we want to make sure they know the ins and outs of the company, we want to make sure they know our standard procedures for packing, moving, and more. And, of course, that they are up-to-date on the latest health and safety guidelines. The training doesn’t stop there. We provide continuous training support for all of our moving crew on a weekly basis so they are always current on the latest regulations.
Of course, all the training in the world doesn’t beat out real world experience. Luckily, our movers already come with years of experience under their belt. They all know how to properly load and unload their moving vans to ensure your fragile items don’t get damaged in transit. And if you have large/bulky items like pianos, hot tubs, pool tables, etc. we’ve got you covered. Our movers know exactly how to get these items moved safely and without a scratch.
Extra Protection for Your Items
We know your belongings are precious to you. After all, that’s why you’re bringing them with you to your new house! That’s why we do everything in our power to make sure everything arrives in one piece. That means taking extra time to load your fragile boxes last so they don’t get crushed under the weight of other boxes. It also means wrapping your furniture in blankets to avoid any scuffs and/or water damage and put down padded blankets on the floors and walls to protect both your items and your old and new house.
While we take extra precautions to make sure everything is safe, sometimes accidents happen. Luckily, all your items are automatically insured with our released value protection. It is free of charge for all moves and will provide $0.60 per pound per item that is damaged. If you have a lot of expensive items, we do offer full value protection for an extra cost. For things like antiques, original artwork, etc. we can suggest third-party moving insurance companies that we know and trust.
